Am Samstag, 9. Januar, fanden in Heusweiler (DE) die 24. Saarland Ladies Open statt. Am Start waren auch sechs Sensler Ringerinnen. Sie zeigten dabei ein sehr gutes Turnier und gewannen insgesamt fünf Medaillen.
Svenja Jungo, Julia Lötscher und Miriam Lötscher rangen sehr stark und holten alle Gold. Svenja (Schülerinnen 33 Kg) qualifizierte sich mit drei Siegen souverän für den Final. Dort besiegte sie Emma Kunkel mittels Schultersieg. Julia (Schülerinnen 46 kg) tat es ihr gleich und legte ihre Gegnerin im Final ebenfalls auf den Rücken. Auch ihre Schwester Miriam (Jugend 56 kg) zeigte im Final eine ganz starke Leistung. Sie gewann mit einem klaren 17 zu 6 Punktesieg gegen Lina Dussin.
Larissa Feyer (Jugend 49 kg) gelang mit drei klaren Siegen ebenfalls der Einzug in den Final. Dort verlor sie gegen die starke Oceane Ruysschaert mittels Schultersieg. Mit dem Gewinn der Silbermedaille konnte sie aber mit ihrem Turnier dennoch sehr zufrieden sein.
Eveline Lötscher startet in der gleichen Kategorie wie ihre Schwester Miriam (Jugend 56 kg). Im Halbfinal wurde sie von Lina Dussin, der späteren Finalgegnerin Miriams, geschultert. Mit einem Sieg im nächsten Kampf zeigte sie aber eine starke Reaktion und sicherte sich die Bronzemedaille.
Die jüngste Senslerin im Team, Jael Andrey (Schülerinnen 27 kg) gewann dank ihrem vierten Rang ein Diplom.
